The Newsletter You Must Read – James Clear’s 3-2-1

James Clear, writer of Atomic Habits, has a weekly newsletter where he delivers 3 quotes from himself, 2 quotes from others, and 1 inspiring, actionable question.

The quotes are all short, to the point, and, quite frankly, great. The question usually has me thinking about how I can improve my life.

Here are some examples:

Motivation comes and goes. If you want to do something consistently, then don’t pick a level of difficulty that requires great motivation.
Make it easy enough and simple enough that you’ll do it even when you don’t feel very motivated.

However, giving one topic your full attention for an extended period of time is even harder than it seems.
Over a long timeline, the bottleneck is usually attention not ability.
